Excel Location

How can i change the location of the excel file in the PowerBi Desktop File ?

One way you are able to do this:

When in Edit Queries,

Select the excel file, then in the right hand tab Query Settings,

Press the gear icon next to Source, this will allow you to select the new location.

Alternative:

Select Edit Queries from the ribbon,

Then select the excel file in question from the Queries seen on the left tab of the page,

Next select Advanced Editor from the top ribbon,

In here you shall see the first line listed as Source = 

You will see the original file/folder path,

Simply change this to the new file/folder path of your excel file
