I have imported the Timeline Slicer, but for some reason I can't get it to populate. I have a date stamp column in my data set which was imported from Excel and is in typcial "datestamp" format (i.e. 42370 represents Jan 1, 2016). There is only one field to populate on the Timeline Slicer, and when I add field nothing happens. The data is "uncategorized" which appears to be correct given what I can see in the few tutorials that I could find. Any thoughts?
Try setting it to a different data type. Perhaps it prefers an actual date-time format.
