Establish a connection to Postgresql on AWS RDS

The article at this link didnt solve the issue.

 

I want to connect to a RDS Postgresql instance. I have the db hostname, username and password alonf with the certificate to log into the server.

 

How to make a connection to this database?

You actually have 2 options:

1. Connect directly to PostgreSQL

2. Through ODBC connection

On this option you need to create the connection first on ODBC Data SourceAdministrator. Check if the client is 32 or 64bit
