Errors with data refresh

Hi everyone,

I am working on a Power BI report that I did not create. When I update the data in the file with the icon circled in red (see first picture), error messages appear:

  • Loading blocked by failures with other requests

However, when I update the table data one by one with a right click and then update the table, there are no error messages. This manipulation takes a long time to perform.

Do you know how to solve this update problem? Can we get around the problem with a script? If yes, how to do it?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Your Table1 looks like locked. Check on this one.

How to see it  ? How to unlock this table ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

I updated again and here are the error messages that are displayed:

TABLE1

TABLE2

The loading was cancelled due to an error in loading a previous table.

That happens because some user is accessing your database exclusively, this generates blocking of queries. Solution, they must execute the query/update when there is no use by users with that level, and that blocks all transactions with minor privileges. Another would be to change the roles (profile) you use to connect to that database.

Hi @Syndicate_Admin,

Thanks for your answer.

I only import data from database Access,. I think the database is not connected to Power BI for me because we don't use user ID and password to use or to connect to the database. Do you know how change the roles (profile) ?
