Hi - can anyone help with this please.
I've created .pbix files at the beginning of June, then in late June attempted to open them using the same machine and the same version of Desktop - only to get this error message. Machine is running Windows 7. Same problem occurred on a separate machine running Windows 8.
Downloaded new version today - no improvement.
Any ideas?
Thanks
I am also experiencing this issue. It is a real problem and is frustrating our internal customers. Is there a resolution or work-around?
The July update appears to be completely incompatible with all previous versions (June for Desktop and March for report Server). We get a less severe warning when using the March report Server version with any file produced up to June's desktop version.
Up until the July release this was only a warning and could be bypassed, now however it is a Hard no!
