Hello
I am developing a DQ report where I am showing ELEMENT_ID wise values with description. I have text for ELEMENT_ID in two different tables (Transactional and Master data). There I want a condition that at the runtime if for an ELEMENT_ID, there is no text in Transactional table then search for it in masterdata table. How can I achieve that?
For example:
Table 1 : master data
Element_ID Description
1 ABC
Table 2:
Element_ID Description Value
1 10
2 DEF 20
Report:
Element_ID Description Value
1 ABC 10
2 DEF 20
Regards
Priya

@Anonymous add new column with something like this
New Description = IF ( ISBLANK( Table2[Description] ) || Table2[Description] = "", RELATED( MasterTable[Description], Table2[Description] )
Change table name and column name as per your data model.
