Dear Colleagues,
I have a column that stores emails, called [leadsemail].
And a Helper column, called [helper1], that extract the emails from the [leadsemail] column based on a condition:
helper1 = if(ISBLANK(TableLeads[opportunityID]),TableLeads[leadsemail])
The FIND function works only if I refer to the [leadsemail] column.
helper3 = FIND("@",TableLeads[leadsemail])
If I refer to the helper1 column, I get an error (although the content of both columns is the same, both text).
helper3 = FIND("@",TableLeads[helper1])
The error is "The search Text provided to function 'FIND' could not be found in the given text."
Thanks a lot!

Hi @ViorelCa
You might have some elements in your helper1 column which do not have any "@" at all.
In that case, Find() function returns an error and is not able to compute the correct calculation for any rows of your helper1 column - even those which actually include the symbol "@".
If you add an IfError statement, you will get rid of this error:
=IfError( Find ("@" , TableLeads[helper1] ) , 0 )
