Error converting invalid input with source encoding UTF-8 using ICU. Rejected bytes began with: 99.

Hello, can someone please help me with this issue? I am using the Impala connector to connect to our Hadoop environment and pull in some data. I have successfully pulled in 6 or so other tables, but i am getting an error when trying to pull in this specific one.

 

This is a mashup of different source system from around the world.

 

This is the error.

 

OLE DB or ODBC error : [DataSource.Error] ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Cloudera][Support] (50311) Error converting invalid input with source encoding UTF-8 using ICU.  Rejected bytes began with: 99.
