Hi @MalvikaBhasin ,

Based on your description, as mentioned by the user above, the error message shows that the column does not exist in the data source. You can check if the corresponding column in the data source has a space at the beginning or end. Secondly, if your datasource was previously refreshed, you need to determine if the column still exists in the new version. Finally, you need to determine if you renamed or modified the referenced column in the previous steps.

Best regards,
Albert He

Hi @MalvikaBhasin

In your sharepoint Category column was removed or changed the column name in sharepoint  that's why getting error like wasn't found  the category column . Just try again one more time from first step then you can found catergory column is avaliable or not.

Thanks,

Hi,

In this screenshot, I changed the format of given headers - Amount from Text to whole numbers and for others as well. After doing that I am just trying to save my file but even then I am getting an error. Why so?

@MalvikaBhasin , The error message "The column 'Category' of the table wasn't found" in Power Query typically indicates that the specified column does not exist in the table you are querying.

And it looks like you are steps are not in correct order

Hi @MalvikaBhasin ,

One of the applied steps is referencing the category column when it no longer exists in the previous step  and one of the possible causes of that is a step has been deleted or one or more steps have been re-ordered. For example (not exactly the  case), Grouped Row step is referencing Category from Grouped Rows2 but this step has Category and Count3 only.
