Error: 'CALCULATE' is not a function

I'm building some analysis around Benford's law and am using the following code. This same code works just fine in another report. For some reason, I'm getting an error: "'CALCULATE' is not a function." and I can't find anything online that references this error. Any ideas?

Benford = var dig = 'Data'[TwoDigits] return IF(dig <> BLANK( ), CALCULATE(LOG10(1+1/dig)), BLANK( ))

That didn't help but introduced another error and now I think I know the issue: my data is direct query and some advanced measures (including the LOG10 function) aren't available in DQ.

@prodigypenguin , Strange.

Try like

Benford = var dig = 'Data'[TwoDigits] return IF(dig <> BLANK( ), LOG10(1+1/dig), BLANK())

Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
