Hi,
I am asking my questions again in a dedicated message as my replies have gone unanswered to date:
Other than turning off encryption, how can I avoid seeing the "Encryption Support" dialog when connecting to databases?
Is there a way to enable encryption in my MSSQL DB to avoid this?
How can I explain to my users that pressing OK is safe? I'm getting at least two enquiries every day.
Cheers
LOL. I know I can disable this but I'd like to ensure I have the highest level of security available. I assumed all communication to my server was encrytpted. Im having a hard time explaining to management why this is OK.
How can I enable encryption so that this message no longer appears?
Hi @cnschulz,
I'm afraid there is no way for us to let the message disappear.
Actually, this message only appear once when you connect to the Datebase.
In addition, if you think this is a good feaure, you could post your idea in Power BI ideas forum.
Best Regards,
Cherry
