Hi All,
I want to change Data Connectivity mode from Import to DirectQuery under Query function.
Query setting → Applied Steps → Source → SQL Server database → Data Connectivity mode
Then I change from Import to DirectQuery → OK → Close & Apply → Save
However, next time I check, it remains unchanged. Can you help me?
All the best,
Paris

@paris Try changing the "Storage Mode" under "Model". Select the Table to see the properties.

Hi
I was able to show storage mode but can not change from Import to direct. Do you know why?
All the best,
Paris
Hi Pattem
Thank you for your message.
I only have three icons (vizualizations / table / relationship ) on the left but not the one you mentioned.
How can I display?
All the best,
Paris
@paris I think you need to update your Power BI Desktop with the new version.

HI All,
It was originally imported but want to change to Direct Query.
I selected Options → Preview Features → Model view.
When I check Storage mode, I have three selections Import, Direct Query and Dual.
I can only chose Import , other twos are in dark grey colour.
What can I do?
All the best,
Paris
