Easy Row Level Security Question!

Hi,

I have a report that looks at performance of 2 sites; I implement RLS as the following:

Site 1 - John

Site 2 - Jim

Jane also has access to the report, if she's not listed in RLS, can she see everything or nothing?

Thanks

@bigrods , assign the roles to all three under the security of the dataset, after that Jane will not see any data. because there is no site assigned

Hi @amitchandak  , I created the roles in Desktop and just added John and Jim via email address in the Power BI service. So using this method means Jane will still be able to access, is that right? Thanks

@bigrods , if RLS is implemented using userprincipalname . And jane si assigned to role, then the user will not see any data.

In case Jane is not assigned role, the user will see full data.
