Would be nice when using small multiples and slicers combined if the chart resized to show selected slicer choices. For example I have a chart that shows small multiples by year so say 2022-2025 data = 4 charts in the visual. The Slicer for the page is also by Year so users can select multiple if needed and filter all charts on page to selected slicer year(s). If I select 2022 and 2024 I want the small multiple to resize to show just 2 charts and not four with 2 charts and 2 blank spaces.
Hi @rseals,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
Currently, Power BI’s small multiples layout is static in terms of the number of grid slots it reserves. It doesn’t automatically adjust the number of visible charts based on slicer selections. This is by design, as the layout is determined by the full set of values in the field used for small multiples, not just the filtered ones. As @Greg_Deckler has already suggested you to share your feedback on Ideas Forum which would be open for the user community to upvote & comment on. This allows our product teams to effectively prioritize your request against our existing feature backlog and gives insight into the potential impact of implementing the suggested feature.
I would also take a moment to thank @Greg_Deckler, for actively participating in the community forum and for the solutions you’ve been sharing in the community forum. Your contributions make a real difference.
If I misunderstand your needs or you still have problems on it, please feel free to let us know.
