I’m trying to make a Power BI visual show a trophy PNG image or “Congrats!” message when there’s no data, and hide the chart when there is.
I’ve tried using a SharePoint/OneDrive image URL (blocked by authentication), a Base64 image in DAX (not supported), and layered visuals controlled by a DAX flag (no Visibility fx in my version).
Right now I’m using a fallback card that says “No data for selected Business Unit,” but I’d love ideas on any workaround that displays an image dynamically without upgrading Power BI.

@KEO46 check these two videos on my channel which I did long time ago and one of it shows the image based on certain condition, you can apply something similar to achieve the result:

If my solution proved useful, I'd be delighted to receive Kudos. When you put effort into asking a question, it's equally thoughtful to acknowledge and give Kudos to the individual who helped you solve the problem. It's a small gesture that shows appreciation and encouragement! ❤

You are solving the wrong problem. Apply filters in a way that there's always some data. Include a Help/Q&A tab that explains how to use the report. Run user trainings.
I agree with that but that is not what the requester wants.
