I have the follow column chart with the wait weeks a customer has to wait for a complaint to be resolved. I am using a play axis to dynamic play this so the end user can see how the chart moves over time. I'd like to add a feature so that columns are dynamically coloured based on the date they first appeared in the chart so in the example below the wait weeks 20 with the low activity count was actually Christmas 2022. I'd also like to add in other dates of interest etc.
I've spent the last 2 days on this forum and googling but can't seem to even get a first idea of how to do it or even if it's possible. So far I've experimented with adding a second table to my model with dates and dates of special interest and using that as a customer formula in the colour select of the bar but no luck.
My question is - is it even possible and if so could some one point me in the right direction?

Hi @Parosel ,
Tested and currently not possible. Conditional formatting is not yet available for cross-highlighted bar charts.
If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
