Dynamic Tooltip Help

Hi,

I have a new card visual which shows 5 measures. I would like to create a dynamic tooltip which explains how each of these is calculated. Nothing I've tried so far has worked. Below is the card visual in question.

Any help on how to go about this would be gratefully received!

Thanks,

Richard

@Richard_Clipsto I'm thinking that you are going to need to break that single visual into multiple card visuals.

Thanks for Greg_Deckler's concern about this issue.

Hi, @Richard_Clipsto

I'm not sure I understand what you mean correctly:
By “create a dynamic tooltip which explains how each of these is calculated” do you mean display the DAX formula for each Measure?

If I understand you correctly, you can refer to my method:

As Greg_Deckler said, you need to break a single visual into multiple card visuals.

Then you can fill in the DAX corresponding to the Measure in a new page using Narrative visual:

Then set that page to Tooltip format:

Finally select the corresponding Tooltip page in the Tooltip of the card visual:

I have attached the pbix file for the example below, I hope it helps.

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,
