Ok, I am a total nube at this Power Bi Reports. Here is what I'm doing. (which could be entirely wrong) but...
I have 3 rows of dynamic text I would like to display. It is dynamic on values from the database.
"Top sales person sold 25 cars in 2017."
"Second best sales person sold 15 cars in 2017."
"Third best sales person sold 10 cars in 2017."
I can create a query and display this in a table. But it will sort "Second...", "Third...", "Top...".
I can add a sort order column to the end. But I cannot hide this column. And if the use click the text column it sorts.
I have tried to sort the data in the data view. It sorts fine. But then when I display the data. It sorts "Second...", "Third...", "Top...".
I have tried multi-row card. It sorts "Second...", "Third...", "Top...".
I have tried a multi-row card and added my sort column to it. It will allow me to sort decending only by the sort column and I cannot hide the sort column.
I could really use a bit of help here.
Joe
Solved! Go to Solution.
With you Sort Order Column that you created it. Select the Field with the dynamic values and go to modeling-Sort by Column and choose your Sort Order Column.
