Dynamic Target in Matrix Visuals

I would like to check on how to do this.

EmployeeTargetTarget ReductionMTTR
Director18%18.00100
+Senior Manager25%58.50234
++Manager12%68.04567
+++Team Lead10%43.50435

If you click the DIRECTOR, you will get 18%, and when you click down further, you will see their corresponding TARGET %.  Plus the target reduction would be the target % * MTTR.  This table is developed using MATRIX. Direcotr, Sr Mgr, Mgr, and Team Lead have their own columns in one table.  I hope this information is enough for you guys to check on how to do this.  I tried doing the isfiltered and switch but I couldn't get that result.  Appreciate it!

@rkee10

I used the following sample data and then created two measures using the following DAX expressions:

hackcrr_0-1722945865061.png

DynamicTarget =
SWITCH(
    TRUE(),
    ISFILTERED('EmployeeData'[Team Lead]), MAX('EmployeeData'[Target]),
    ISFILTERED('EmployeeData'[Manager]), MAX('EmployeeData'[Target]),
    ISFILTERED('EmployeeData'[Senior Manager]), MAX('EmployeeData'[Target]),
    ISFILTERED('EmployeeData'[Director]), MAX('EmployeeData'[Target]),
    BLANK()
)
TargetReduction =
VAR CurrentTarget = [DynamicTarget]
RETURN
IF(
    NOT ISBLANK(CurrentTarget),
    CurrentTarget * MAX('EmployeeData'[MTTR]),
    BLANK()
)

The matrix results are as follows:

If this post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution and kudos to this post to help the other members find it more quickly

Thank you for this one but based on your example,

John (Director) should have 18% (sample only),

Mary (Sr Mgr), should have 20% while Steve should have 19%

Robert (Mgr), 18%

Alice (team lead) 15%

@rkee10 , First create a measure

Target Reduction =
   SUMX(
       'YourTable',
       'YourTable'[Target] * 'YourTable'[MTTR]
   )

Filter target measure
Filtered Target =
   IF(
       ISFILTERED('YourTable'[Employee]),
       SELECTEDVALUE('YourTable'[Target]),
       BLANK()
   )

Drag the Filtered Target measure to the Values field in the matrix.
Drag the Target Reduction measure to the Values field in the matrix.

@bhanu  - for the employee, like what I have mentioned, it is coming from different columns.
