Download data from a R visual - Forecast visual

Hello,

I am testing the Forecast visual 'exponential smooth', and after adjusting some parameters at the visual, I want to download the forecasted data points.

When I try to do it, I can only download the historical data points, but no the forecasted data points from the visual. Is there any way that I can download those forecasted data points?

Thank you

Pablo

Hello,

I just discovered the 'forecast' option at the 'analytics' section of the chart pane, and it does exactly what I need for the type of forecast that I am performing.

It also allows me to compare 2 datasets, so I can contrast in the same chart both forecast and actual data to validate the model.

Thank you very much for the availability.

Hi @Anonymous,

Which visualization did you use? I can't find out a visual named "exponential smooth". Maybe the forecasting data is calculated in the run time. So no data can be downloaded. If you can share the name of the visual, I can give it a try of exporting data.Download data from a R visual - Forecast visual.JPG

Hello Dale @v-jiascu-msft

Thank you very much for your response and my apologize for not being a bit more specific.

The visual that I am working on is 'Time Series Forecasting Chart', and aside of being able to download the forecasted data points (which it will be helpful), my main problem is how to compare forecasted data with actual data, so I can fine-tune the model parameters and understand / focus at the gaps.

I tried to export data from that visual and most I can get is all historical data, but unable to obtain the forecasted data points.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you

Pablo
