Does the data reside in memory when we publish?

Hi All,

Have  aquestion related to data load in Power BI.

I have imported few tables in Power BI Desktop, created a data model using that. Right now I don't have any cloud setup. When I publish the data model to service so that I can share it to team members, where does the data reside. ?

Regards,

Akash

Hi @akj2784,

Power BI service is a cloud-based service. After publishing report to service, all imported data are stored on cloud side.
