Desktop Freezing & not allowing me to switch from Direct to Import

Hi It 

 

For the last two days power bi desk top has intermitantly not allowed me to swith tablesfrom direct query to import.

It tells me there are pedning changes even though I have made No changes. It then freezes and the only way to close is by using task manager???

Any ideas 

I have a 16GD RAM laptop

Hi @cottrera -COnfigurations are fine, try to select the pending refresh updates and save the file and also , 

Can you check on clearing the cache can resolve issues related to pending changes.

File -> Options and settings -> Options -> Global -> Data Load and then clicking on Clear cache.

you can also check on Performance Analyzer in Power BI Desktop if any bottlenecks.

lastly check the logs files too

These log files are located in the C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\ directory. Look for files with names like PBIDesktop*.log.
