Default Line Chart View Centered on Current Date

I have a line chart showing values over time. By default, the chart always opens at the earliest date.

I’d like it to automatically focus around the current month (e.g., April 2025) when the page loads instead of starting from the beginning.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi  @PBIuserATK ,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Community.

You can use a Relative Date filter to automatically focus the chart around the current date:

  1. Add a slicer to your report using the date field.

  2. Change the slicer type to "Relative Date."

  3. Configure it to show values such as in the last 6 months or any time range you prefer.

This will dynamically adjust the chart to always focus around the current date when the report loads.
