Decomposition Tree

Have been waiting for decomposition tree for so long, it came out yesterday and it doesn't work with Multi-Dimensional Analysis Services data sources...noooooooooooo! Couldn't see any text around it not working with these data sources other than a message in PBi Desktop, is this likely to change?

There is an idea for the same requirement. You could vote it up. 

decomposition tree: support for live connections to on-prem tabular or multidimensional analysis services data sources

As you said, it is not supported to use live connections to SSAS MD. We could try to connect it with import mode for now. 

You could give a feedback in the comments to get it fixed for next version.
