Hello everybody,
I would like to ask for your help.
My default setting uses decimal comma.
But I need to use decimal point in my report. When I change locale settings of my computer to English, it is not working everywhere.
It works for basic KPIs, ... But I use also measures like this one: avg_stars_gl = "( " & [measure] & " - global )". When I delete the strings, it is OK. But with the strings - it shows decimal comma.
Thank you for your help!

Hey, @marie_vitova
You can check these region settings.
then try like this:
Measure = "("&FORMAT(AVERAGE('Table'[Column1]),"General number")&"-gobal )"
Measure = "("&FORMAT(AVERAGE('Table'[Column1]),"#0.00")&"-gobal )"
You may need to restart, or use the data to re-report, I think it will be resolved.
If you do not solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.
Best regards
Janey Guo

Hi, @Anonymous
It’s my pleasure to answer for you.
According to your description, I think you can create a measure to calculate the correct result.
Like this:
avg_stars_gl =
"( " & FORMAT ( [measure] , "#,##0" ) & " - global )"
If it doesn’t solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.

Hello @v-janeyg-msft ,
thank you for your reaction. What I am dealing with is the decimal separator, not the thousand separator.
Formatting that would be working for me looks like this "( " & FORMAT([measure],"#,##0.00") & " - global )"
Hi, @Anonymous
Can you please show me what your data is like?
Best Regards

@v-janeyg-msft Thank you! It is working. It is just unfortunate that I have to recreate complete report.
@Anonymous , I think you have change regional setting for that.

@amitchandak Thank you for your answer.
I have tried to change the regional settings to English (USA) and English (UK) but I still get the same result. The basic KPIs are shown with decimal point (correct) and the composed KPIs as avg_stars_gl ="( " & [measure] & " - global )" are shown with decimal comma (wrong).
