Hi all,
i have a dashboard which uses a tba;e called "Combined".
I have a card on the dashboard which uses the dax code below to count where the "XXXX Status" column has the value "Closed" - This returns a value to the card of 14
When I create a table to show the rows, filters to show these "Closed" values from the "XXXX Status" column, this shows 11 rows?
The actual correct physical "Closed" count from the source excel file is "11" rows. So the filter on the visualisation is correct and the DAX cosde is adding 3 rows for some reason?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The SEARCH function is including those rows with a status of "Not Closed" as well as "Closed". Rather than using SEARCH just use a straight =, e.g. 'Combined'[XXXX Status] = "Closed".
Thank you
