Dates showing in 2 different ways when using the same field. how do I make them the same.

I used the same ver field to build each visual. One appeared as a breakdown and only will show as the year. the second will only show as the full date (which is the correct way I would like to represent it in all visuals)

1. why is the same field and visual type behaving in two different ways.  how do I get all visuals to show the date as it is represented in the data like example 2?

Thank you so much.  I unchecked the auto date in Options.  I then refreshed the data and removed the date from the visual and readded it.  It is still showing as just the year. Did I miss a step?

Hi @22LACMT ,

You are using the date hierarchy created by Auto date/time, it is recommended to turn it off and create a standard calendar table instead.

You may also consider right-clicking on the ver field to convert from a date hierarchy to the date.
