Date - shows time in 3 hour blocks when no time exists in data

I'm pulling over a date from SharePoint (date only, no time) but when I throw it in a line chart, its' including the time broken down in 3 hour increments.  This makes no sense.

All I want is a single date to show.  If I have 5 dates filtered, I want to see 5 data points.  Not 8 data points per day times 5 days

I'd check the format that the field is stored as in Power BI to make sure it's a date and not datetime format
