Dear All,
I have a table in which there are calculated columns which does Plus minus of daily stock, the issue is when i put the dates in the matrix it sorts by ascending order, i tried creating duplicate calendar table then linking it with the main date table, even tried rank, index but it does not work, can somone assist. I want to sort in descending order

Hi! You can have Power BI sort one column by another. For example, If you have a date table and you have fields for Year, Month, Month Number, Day, etc. and you put Month into a visual, it will sort it alphabetically (no one needs that). To correct this, you would select the Month field in the data pane and choose to have it sorted by the Month Number column - this will put it in order we need. You can do similar if you have days of the week as the name - it would need to be sorted by the number column. Here is a link that shows how to do it.
