Date hierarchy shows in different language

I have a pbix file which loads data via an api plug in. All of the fields are in English (US) except for the DATE hierarchy. The date in this case (user.created.date) is in english. But if I try to use the hierarchy breakdown, its in German. ALL other fields are in English. The template file I use is from the source of the data, and the data is being pulled in as a json type. If I create a new column via DAX which references the date field to recreate thehierarchy, its still in German.
