Hi,
I have a table in Power BI with one of the columns being a date field, showing in the format 01 August 2022. This is how it displays in the pbix file while I'm designing my report, and this is how I wish the date to be formatted.
I have removed the date hierarchy option.
When I publish the report and view it in a browser, all dates then also show the day of the week with the date formatting looking very different, e.g. Monday, August 01, 2022
I don't wish to see the day of the week, and would like, when publshed, the date to show like it does in the pbix file (01 August 2022).
What have I done wrong/how could I achieve ths please?
Thanks

if you click on the date in power bi ie and then in the column tools formatting ribbon at the top what do you see?

Thanks, that's it! It was showing as "Long Date" so I changed it to the next option of "dd mmmm yyyy" and that's fixed it.
Thank you 🙂
