Dataset Query

Hi,

I am migrating reports from SAP BO to power BI. In BO I have universe which comprises of multiple tables(around 10) which are joined with each other. In power Bi i want to replicate the same. Should i create 1 dataset like BO or report wise dataset.

Merging more than two tables in Power BI  can be bit challenging and also creating 1 dataset can later have issues  while refreshing on premises gateway. So please suggest me the right approach.

Thanks

@Anonymous data modelling can be tricky and it all depends on what you want.  Here is the guidance on the data model, typical star schema, if you share what your end goal is and share sample data, I don't see any issue with putting this all together.
