DataFormat error when trying to parse date

I have a csv with dates in format MMM-YY and Power BI is unabe to read the file

eg

Date

Mar-99

Apr-12

 

Is there a way to read this csv ?

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

We can use the following steps to convert this column from text to date

  1. Open the Power Query Editor.
  2. Right-click the column that we want to change type. Select change Type and using locale.
 

 

  1. Date type is Date and locale is English(World).

  1. Then we can get the result like this,
