Dear,
I have a query starting with
let
Source = Folder.Files("C:\.........\Folder"),
And I weekly add a file in this folder. However, when I do data refresh, the first step is not refreshed. This is an example:
In week 34 I create the report and have in the folder files for W33 and W34. In week 35 I add the file W35 in the folder and I refresh the query. However the list of files to source from "C:\.........\Folder" does not change and I keep refreshing only the old files data.
A workaround is for me to change folder once, load the list of what is there and than change back to the right folder. This produces the updated list of files including w35.
Any more straight forward ways?

Basically if you add new files into the folder, just click the refresh button directly in power query editor and the folder should load all the latest files.

@Anonymous Something is not right, you should not have to do that, what version of the Desktop are you on? Did you use a Folder query when you created your query? Can you paste the rest of your Advanced Editor code?
