Data refresh taking long time

When am refreshing the data its taking long time nearly its taking 3 hrs.

As a workaround, you can consider loading excel data into a database so that you can use directquery connection mode to access the data in the database.

@Anonymous , How much is data. What is the source? How much time, it use to take previously. Is it on a power bi service or desktop?

In Desktop, You can try the following options, Increase data management cache to 8 to 10 GB
