Data refresh taking long time

When am refreshing the data its taking long time nearly its taking 3 hrs.

    Anonymous , How much is data. What is the source? How much time, it use to take previously. Is it on a power bi service or desktop?

     

    In Desktop, You can try the following options, Increase data management cache to 8 to 10 GB

      4lacks rows,EXCEL,3hrs and it is in power bi desktop

        Hi, Anonymous 

        To open the Settings pane in Power BI Desktop, you need to Select File > Options and settings > Options.

    Hi, Anonymous 

    As a workaround, you can consider loading excel data into a database so that you can use directquery connection mode to access the data in the database.
