Data alignment

Dear community
I am a fairly new user of Power BI but I'm loving it so far.
For a small project I would need your advice. I have 5 different datasets and I source the datasets online. Since there is no API, I have to download the datasets once a month as an excel file. For my dashboard I currently use the 5 datasets and I have 1 common value across all datasets: Company Name
Where I currently struggle:
- How would you update the data once a month? Just overwriting the existing dataset? Does that work? (the column names stay the same..)
- The common value "Company Name" across all datasets sometimes differs minimally. E.g. in one dataset I have the name "Coca Cola" and in another I have "Coca Cola Company". How would you harmonize this if you cannot edit the original source? Or do I have to change it everytime I download a new dataset again?
Many thanks for your help!

Hi @leomessi

What are the sources of the 5 datasets? Are these 5 datasets refreshed automatically? Through a Gateway or in the Cloud? It is definetly better to make adequate changes directly in the sources ortherwise you will have no choice but to update each and every Dataset accordingly whenever there is a change.
