Data Modeling between 4 Tables

Hello Dears,

I need your help to build the proper connections between the 4 tables in the below screen shot.

Here is a brief description about what is expected:

- ROSTER DATABASE table is the fact sheet contains all employees activities such as Driving duty per day

- APP_TT table contains the applied timetable per day

- DR_Duties contains each timetable driving duties with its details such as the driving duration, # of trips.

- Date table is the calendar table contains all dates.

I need to be able to build visualisations to get for example how many trips per employee per day.

in DR_Duties table Driving Duty contains duplicated values with different # of trips, time table name, driving hours.

Can you please explain your solution step by step?

  • change the bidirectional arrows to single direction
  • Build your report using the parent columns (from the dimension tables) first.
  • Adjust your data model as needed.

Is that what you mean?

change the bidirectional arrows to single direction.  Build your report using the parent columns (from the dimension tables) first.  Then adjust your data model as needed.
