Data Fill

I am trying to accomplish a Data Gap Fill in Power BI. A couple of things to note about the data: we have a date table added via calendarauto to fill in date gaps. Now trying to figure out how to get the values filled too.

Example:

4/1/23 a value is entered for $0.43

4/6/23 a value is entered for $0.12

The expectation would be to see a plateau between 4/1 to 4/5 and the decline on 4/6. 

Any assistance on this would be great. I've tried doing so many DAX measures. I can't do the fill down in power Query since the date table isn't in there.

 

This is the current graph. Like stated above, we want to get that to be plateaus between the data points.

Can you share your file? To my understanding, Power BI does connect when there is blank values.
