DAX Measure not recognizing applied filter

Hello - 

I have created some DAX measures and placed them in a table visual. However, when I apply a filter from my slicer, the measure shows values where there should be none, therefore the table is not correctly filtering based on the selection made in the slicer. In the image below, there should only be 'Male' appearing in the table. It's almost as if the Selected Year measure does not recognize the slicer. Any suggestions? Thanks!

can you show the formula behind the measures and the data model?

Hi Denis - unfortunately it's not possible to share the file due to sensitive data. However, the 3 measures involved are as follows:

a. Selected year = [Current Year]+[Year Selection]

b. Current Year =

VAR CurrentYear = YEAR( TODAY())

RETURN

CurrentYear

c. Year Selection = IF( HASONEVALUE( 'Year Scenario'[Year Scenario] ), VALUES( 'Year Scenario'[Year Scenario] ), 0)
