Hi,
How to do a DAX for the cut off time of ticket submissions.
Tickets being submitted prior to 1 pm is prior to cutoff time
Tickets being submitted between 1 pm to 2 pm is the Grey zone
Tickets being submitted after 2 pm is Past the cut off
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can add a calculated column like:
Ticket Cutoff Status =
VAR TimeOnly = TIME(HOUR([Remedy Submitted Date]), MINUTE([Remedy Submitted Date]), SECOND([Remedy Submitted Date]))
RETURN
SWITCH(
TRUE(),
TimeOnly < TIME(13, 0, 0), "Prior to Cutoff",
TimeOnly >= TIME(13, 0, 0) && TimeOnly <= TIME(14, 0, 0), "Grey Zone",
TimeOnly > TIME(14, 0, 0), "Past the Cutoff"
)
You can add a calculated column like:
Ticket Cutoff Status =
VAR TimeOnly = TIME(HOUR([Remedy Submitted Date]), MINUTE([Remedy Submitted Date]), SECOND([Remedy Submitted Date]))
RETURN
SWITCH(
TRUE(),
TimeOnly < TIME(13, 0, 0), "Prior to Cutoff",
TimeOnly >= TIME(13, 0, 0) && TimeOnly <= TIME(14, 0, 0), "Grey Zone",
TimeOnly > TIME(14, 0, 0), "Past the Cutoff"
)
This is perfect! I am testing the filters for today bar chart for the rest of the day.
