Hello,
I want to create a custom connector to SQL Server.
The connector has some proprieties :
- Connect only to a specific database (the end user will have not access to choose the server and the database)
- tables and relationship must be define in code of the connector.
the object of my request is to protect my job : i'm developping a kind of data model using SQL views and procedures so the obective is to protect my job
I was find some exemple in internet but i can't find the best way to solve my problem.
Thank you
Hi @ihebc ,
Maybe you could try to connect SQL Server with dataflows. You could choose the server and the database. The users can connect to the tables to create their own reports but have no direct access to the data source. Here is the document you could learn from.

If you only want to create a custom connector, I have no experience for it. Hope others can give you some advices.
Best Regards,
Xue Ding
