Custom calculated column in Matrix

Hello all,

until just now i've been able to pretty much find an answer to all my questions using these fora, thanks for that!

I'm trying to add a 'custom' column to the end of my matrix.

Right now it looks like:

 Q1 Q2
 ActualForecastActualForecastTOTAL ACTUALTOTAL FORECAST
Sales1005075200175250

When i add a calculated column (DIFFERENCE = Actual - Forecast) this is also done for the Q1 and Q2 values.

I want the calculation to be done only on the TOTAL ACTUAL and TOTAL FORECAST values, as so:

 Q1 Q2
 ActualForecastActualForecastTOTAL ACTUALTOTAL FORECASTDIFFERENCE
Sales1005075200175250-75

I've tried a lot, and haven't had any luck. Who can help me out?

Thanks!

This is currently not possible but one way you can control is to create measure to return value only when it is total otherwise return blank. This way you will have the column there for every quarter but there will be no value. Just a suggestion.

Hi @HB2BI

What does your table look like?

You can try column=[actual]-[forecast]
