Hi all -
I have seen several similar messages, but I am struggling to achieve the desired results.
I have a stacked column chart I am trying to sort each Branch by 'AVGEmployeeUtilization;' however I would like to keep each branch grouped within it's Region.
For example, Central branches would remain grouped together but would descend by 'AVGEmployeeUtilization' (Dallas, Denver, OKC, Austin, etc.). Then Mid-Atlantic would remain grouped but descend by 'AVGEmployeeUtilization' and so on.
Would I need a custom dax measure for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all,

PBI file attached. I switched the visual to a Table. Sorted by the first column in ascending order and the last column in descending order. Switched the visual back to the original one.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
Click on the 3 dots at the upper right hand side of the visual and sort by the measure in descending order.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, that is not what I need. If i do that, the Regions (colors) are no longer grouped together.
I need the Branches sorted by descending order within their respective Region (or Color) groups, like this:
Thanks again,
@Anonymous
can you please share sample data ?
Hmm...it seems I cannot attach an excel file or a pbix file. I don't want to add work on your end but recreating the below image should get you the information you need to solve the problem.
Upload the file to Google Drive or a similar file hosting service and share the download link.
Share the download link of the PBI file.
