Custom Shape Maps Unexpected Error

I have a custom map which has been shared by one the microsoft members for India. In that the Andhara Pradesh and Telangana has not been devided as different states. Can you please help us, where i will get the updated custom map for India.

FYI - If i use the built in map provided by Microsoft, the Jammu and Kashmir parts are not showining, this is the reason we are using custom map.

When you create the custom visual, Andhara Pradesh and Telangana has not been devided as different states, do you mind share the your shape file for further analysis?

What's meaning of "If i use the built in map provided by Microsoft, the Jammu and Kashmir parts are not showining." I creat sample table and list the four places, they are all recognized by maps.

First, create the sample table including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, set the category as state or province. Display them in map visual, it works fine.



Second, create the sample table including  Jammu and Kashmir, it still works correctly.



In addition, there is a thread which describes how to create custom map in details, hope it's helpful.

Thanks for your promt response.

 The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana shows as seperate if i use the builtin map provided by Power BI. In the same map the  Jammu and Kashmir is not showing completely. sharing the link to see political map of India https://www.mapsofindia.com/maps/india/india-political-map.htm

Currently i am using the .json file for my custom map, and it is taking very long to load the dashbaord because of the custom map. 

The dashboards are published on Indian government portal, Kindly help us to load the dashbaord better with the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana segrigation.

Meanwhile, i will explore the custom map creation apprach as suggested by you.

Got it, the Jammu and Kashmir didn't display correctly, have you set them as city category? And welcome to share your solution when you create the custom map successfully.

Good Morning

By default the Jammu and Kashmir map shows incorrectly. This is the reason we have used the custom map to display the map properly.

I am already working on custom map generation. Please share the link to downlaod the already developed custom map for india with Andhra Pradesh and Telangana segregation (if you have any).
