Hello,
I have a column which is a mixture of numbers and N/A.
Is there a way of formatting the column into thousands using a custom column rather then in the table. I want the N/A to be shown in the table but cannot format the numbers there due to the fact it is a mix of numbers and text.
Any help would be great.

You can do this as a new column in Power Query:
and the code for the custom colum is:
try Text.From( Number.FromText([Value]) / 1000) & "k" otherwise "N/A"
