Cumulative count

Hi, community,

I'm trying to get the cumulative total calls in my data monthwise.

As you can see if I'm using the Month number then the cumulative is working perfectly.

But in Month's case, it is not working.

Is there any workaround if I want it monthwise?

used the following Dax measure.

V1 Cumulative Total Calls =
CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(T2363[IncidentNo]),
FILTER(ALLSELECTED(DATES[Month Number]),
DATES[Month Number] <= MAX(DATES[Month Number])))

V3 Cumulative Total Calls =
CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(T2363[IncidentNo]),
FILTER(ALLSELECTED(DATES[Months]),
DATES[Months] <= MAX(DATES[Months])))

@Niraj_vora0106 , First of if you have date table, then you should use the month from dates table. Second distinct count  will not sum  , because same id can repeat across month

Also you can use date, no need to use month, you can try like

V3 Cumulative Total Calls =
CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(T2363[IncidentNo]),
FILTER(ALLSELECTED(DATES),
DATES[Date] <= MAX(DATES[Date])))

or

V3 Cumulative Total Calls =
CALCULATE(sumx(Values(Dates[Month]), calculate(DISTINCTCOUNT(T2363[IncidentNo]))),
FILTER(ALLSELECTED(DATES),
DATES[Date] <= MAX(DATES[Date])))

Hi,  @amitchandak

Oh okay got it, used the Months from Dates column and tried the DAX that you suggested.

Got the outcome.

Thank you, sir!
