I have the following visuals on a page:
1. Regional breakdown of sales YTD.
2. Total sales by month, for the last twelve months.
When selecting a region on visual 1 to filter the rest of the page, it carries across the YTD filter to visual 2, and therefore does not filter the months prior to the current reporting year.
Does anybody know how i can stop power BI from carrying this YTD filter across from visual 1 to visual 2?

Hi @Anonymous
If you want to break the connection between visuals I suggest you to take a look at the link below

@Anonymous
This is working as expected. I would suggest you to keep a region slicer at the top and disable the interaction between visuals if needed.
If it helps mark it as a solution
Kudos are nice too
