Hi,
Is there a way to create two different reports off the same data source in Power BI desktop?
I'm trying to avoid a messy implementation with multiple .pbix files for each report, each with their own duplicate data source and refresh job hitting the same database.
I don't want to design this inside the browser because I have concerns about losing my Power BI content and having a backup copy.

Ability to create multiple reports in Power BI Desktop so that it shows up as multiple reports in Power BI Service is not supported at this time.

Thank you. It would be nice to have this functionality in the future.

In PBI Desktop you can only create one report with multiple pages.
You have to publish you pbix file to the PBI Service and then, via the service, you can create as many reports you want onto your dataset.
this is the solution!
