Hi all!
I'm creating a report on powerBI Desktop and the output might be the one following:
| Actual | Actual | Actual | Budget | Budget | Budget | ||||
| Business Unit | SQM | Revenue | Unit | SQM | Revenue | Unit | Delta SQM | Delta Revenue | Delta Unit |
| BU1 | 10 | 101 | 10,10 | 15 | 56 | 3,73 | - 5 | 45 | 6,37 |
| BU2 | 20 | 102 | 5,10 | 30 | 356 | 11,87 | - 10 | - 254 | - 6,77 |
| BU3 | 30 | 103 | 3,43 | 45 | 4.658 | 103,51 | - 15 | - 4.555 | - 100,08 |
| Total | 60 | 306 | 5,10 | 90 | 5.070 | 56,33 | - 30 | - 4.764 | - 51,23 |
I managed to do a matrix where i display Actual and Budget (the name of the column for scenery is merged above the 3 metrics sqm, revenue and unit) as you can see above but i can't figure out how to put those other measures outside the column - they have to be indipendent and not redundant.
Thank you for your kind help.
Have a nice day,
Filippo

Hi @Filippomonti ,
As far as I know, if you add separate measures like [Delta SQM]/[Delta Revenue]/[Delta Unit] in to matrix value field, matrix will expand based on Actual/Budget.
I suggest you to try to show them in Total field in matrix.
Measure should look like as below.
UnitSQM =
IF (
HASONEVALUE ( 'TableName'[Column in Matrix Column] ),
[UnitSQM],
[Delta SQM]
)
Then rename the subtotal name in visual format.

Rico Zhou

they have to be indipendent and not redundant
Then they need to move to the left, into the Row area of your Matrix visual.
